Cv Axle Noise When Turning
When a car makes a clicking noise from the front of the vehicle while turning and accelerating, the cause is damage to the cv joint.

Changing lanes may cause the noisy bearing to either increase or decrease the noise level.
Typically this indicates an issue with the outer cv joint, and the sound is the loudest on the joint that’s opposite of the turning direction. Excessive force when in 4wd. The axle assembly seldom fails but rather the cv joints itself.
This is most often heard during sharp turns at lower speeds. Cv axle boot on that side is torn and leaking, just started not a lot of grease all. The cv joint allows flexibility in each end of the axle shaft as the vehicle is going down the road.
If the cv joint gets louder or quieter or noticeably changes in pitch while turning in either direction, then you have a bad outer joint. It allows the shaft the flexibility required for running the suspension and the wheels. It is still running great (after driving all the way home) but, i noticed it is making a loud clunking, metal on metal kind of noise on the front left axle when in first gear, happens more when turning (i think right, but maybe both right and left).
Noise sounds like it is coming from the passenger side. Also note the condition of the cv joint boot. A worn cv axle, worn brake components, a power steering fluid leak are the major causes of producing a grinding noise.
